You may be able to play the DVD on the computer and it seems OK because you software player also skips bad bits. But you want to copy it. You can copy the files with blank bits to replace the bits it can't read. You get data you can then burn and if the errors are small in size and number you may not notice on

They work OK on his own CD drive, and even on another computer that he has. However, they wont read on my drive.
